Connections Directors

Al & Susie have been married for 26 years. Al has a daughter, Olivia Powell who has given us two beautiful grandchildren, Connor Pead (5) and Lucas Pead (3). We have three children together, Seth, Hannah and Emma Powell.

When they aren’t working they enjoy visiting family in the Mountains of Virginia and Tennessee , fishing, reading, cooking.

They are passionate about showing people how to have a relationship with Jesus and in return seeing them show others how to have a relationship with Jesus.

In addition to Communication Directors, Al serves as an Elder at Way Church.

This Gen Student Ministry Directors

Scott (Youth Director) & Lisa (Children's Ministry Director) have been married since 2010 and have 2 children, Logan (21) and Josiah (10). When they aren’t working Scott enjoys reading anything historical and studying Judaism. Lisa loves to try out new tea rooms and painting.

They feel God has called them to utilize the talents and gifts he has given them to lead others in a growing relationship with Him. They love seeing others get excited about sharing the Gospel and stepping into their calling for the sake of the Gospel.

Gary (Elder)

Gary and Joy have been married since June 2003. They have five children, three sons (Greg, Dwayne, Matthew), and two daughters (Stephanie and Ashley). They can both humbly and gratefully say that all of their children are saved and serving in some form of ministry in their church. They have seventeen grandchildren that are a joy and great delight.

When they aren’t working they enjoy making trips to visit family and watching their grandchildren compete in youth baseball, basketball, softball and tennis.

Gary has served as an elder at Way Church for 3 years.

Creative Arts Director, Elder

Frances has served at Way Church as an Elder and Creative Director for 8 years. She has three adult children (twin girls and one son who serves on leadership team at Way Church), and three grandchildren, Caden and McKenna (twins), and granddaughter Hudson.

When she isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to worship music, all things design (graphic and interior), and helping people reach their God given potential. She serves because she loves Jesus and wants to see others come to know Him as He really is.

Children's Volunteer Coordinator

Jaunita has served at Way Church for over 7 years and currently volunteers as Children’s Coordinator. When she isn’t working she enjoys working in the yard with flowers and spending time with her husband and children.

Juanita loves serving God's Kingdom and finding community with her church family.

Music Director, Band Director

Daniel has served on staff at Way Church for over 2 years. Daniel is passionate about worship and leading others into God’s presence. When he isn’t serving he enjoys hunting, fishing, and mastering his craft of playing music. Daniel loves learning new things and is always researching new topics.

Daniel’s primary reason for serving is to help people find what matters by connecting them to Jesus and others.
